ERICA HOPE
Advisor
IN SHORT
Erica leads the Climate Governance program at the European Climate Foundation (ECF): a philanthropically-funded grant-making organization that designs strategies and funds activities intended to help advance Europe's transition to net-zero greenhouse emissions and to ensure the EU acts as a positive international force on climate change. This involves anticipating political opportunities and preparing 'thought leadership' related to these, ensuring analyses and ideas reach the right audiences, and convening and galvanizing diverse coalitions of actors to support, campaign, and advocate for progressive policies.

Before joining the ECF, Erica was an energy efficiency policy officer at the NGO Climate Action Network Europe (CAN-E), and from 2005-2009 worked as Parliamentary Assistant for the Green MEP Caroline Lucas MEP. She has an MA in Human Sciences from Oxford University and enjoys drawing on her experiences to offer occasional career advice sessions to Masters students via the Key2Advance consultancy.
