How to stay resilient in times of change?

Trainers: Mona Shair-Wloch & Martine Alonso Marquis

Workshop Description
01/10/2021
09:00 - 12:00

Leaders who often experience their work as a roller coaster ride want to stay healthy and committed despite the increased demands of today's corporate life. In this module, we don't show you how to get off the roller coaster, we show you how to manage the speed of your roller coaster. To help participants understand where they are on the resilience scale, everyone will have received their individual codes to access the FiRE Index questionnaire for managers. The Executive FiRE Index consists of five parts.

  • Part A: Overview of Executive Resilience: This section provides an overview of how personality traits, behavior patterns and well-being contribute to the current level of resilience.

  • Part B: Spheres of Resilience: In this section the results for the eight spheres of resilience are presented.

  • Part C: Resilience ContinuumThis section describes the composition of individual resilience in the dimensions self-awareness and management.

  • Part D: Thinking Traps: This section contains the typical dysfunctional thought patterns under stress.

  • Part E: Reflections and Commitments: Here insights and actions are recorded that can be discussed with your key2advance coach.

Pre-Work
Prepare for your workshop

Since all of you will have filled out the fire Index questionnaire and will have received your results before our workshop, we would kindly ask you to have these readily available for our module. We will not be sharing the results openly but might use an anonymous participation tool to gain an insight into the team´s current resilience level.

For those that would like to further self-reflect on how high their stress symptoms are, you can fill out another questionnaire found below. This was developed by a burnout prevention center in the Netherlands and reveals your current state of well-being. Please tick which physical and mental symptoms you have experienced over the past month and which behavioral changes you have noticed due to stress. The results will not be shared with the other participants and only serve the purpose of helping you gain more self-awareness.

Please also have something to write at hand during the webinar as you will need it for some exercises.
