key2advance offers services in a variety of fields which assist graduate students and trainees in gaining access to the job-market.

• CV advice: key2advance views a professional CV as the first step towards securing an interview. Our advice is tailored to the career goals of the student (i.e. targeted vs. untargeted, European Commission vs. European Parliament, public vs. private sector, EU vs. North America.)

• Cover/motivation letter advice: key2advance has studied the most compelling cover letters and devised strategies, which guide the applicant towards making his/her arguments more powerful. Particular importance is given to the verbs/tone/message and the shifting of the writer's perceptual position (to that of the reader).

• Career orientation coaching: key2advance is aware that choices after graduation can seem overwhelming, which often leads new graduates to confusion and hasty decisions. To avoid frustration and wrong decisions, we offer coaching sessions with the aim of devising clear and concrete action plans. After these sessions, students leave with a clear picture of their goals, a hierarchy of their values and a list of possible directions/contacts.

• Interview preparation: Interviews are viewed to many graduates as stress-inducing experiences. key2advance has devised tools from the study of NLP which help the clients gain control over their emotional states, focus on the end result, and feel confident during the interview.
